Overview
Building a start-up is challenging enough without navigating the complexities of blockchain technology. From product development and market research to capital acquisition and regulatory compliance, the obstacles can feel overwhelming.
Common Challenges
Transforming an innovative concept into a functioning product is complex and expensive, especially when blockchain integration is involved.
Attracting capital requires a compelling pitch, solid technical foundations, and a clear roadmap — all of which demand significant upfront investment.
Navigating regulatory compliance in the blockchain space is constantly evolving, and getting it wrong early can be costly.

Frequently Asked Questions
How can Labrys help start-ups succeed?
Labrys offers a comprehensive suite of services specifically tailored to address the challenges faced by new businesses — from product development and market analysis to fundraising support and technical consulting.
What if my start-up isn't ready for full-scale blockchain implementation?
We can help you identify areas where blockchain can add value and develop a pilot project to test feasibility. Our flexible engagement models — hourly rates, fixed contracts, or retainers — adapt to your stage and budget.
Do you work with pre-seed founders or only funded teams?
Both. The engagement looks different depending on the stage. Pre-seed and pre-funding work tends to focus on a tight prototype, technical validation, or a pitch-ready demo, scoped to what is genuinely needed to move the round forward.
Funded teams usually need more capacity around an existing roadmap. We are honest about which engagements suit which stage and will tell you up front if the timing is not right.
What is realistic time-to-market for an MVP with blockchain in it?
A focused MVP is usually three to four months if scope is tight and decisions get made quickly. Anything closer to a real product, with proper user accounts, integrations, and compliance, runs longer.
The biggest cause of slippage is not technical. It is feature creep and unclear ownership inside the founding team. We push hard early to lock scope so the build stays on the timeline you are funded for.
Can you work with non-technical founders without an in-house CTO?
Yes. A lot of our start-up work is with founders who have a clear product idea and the commercial understanding but no senior engineer in the team yet.
We act as the technical owner during the build and structure the work so a future CTO can pick it up cleanly. You keep full ownership of the code, the architecture decisions are documented, and we will introduce you to engineers when it makes sense to bring the work in-house.
